Power, Privilege, and Identity
Coffey Park | Brooklyn, New York
June 13—August 22, 2025

The Power, Privilege, and Identity project is a community-driven, public art initiative aimed at engaging youth artists from Red Hook and beyond to explore and express their personal interpretations of power, privilege, and identity. This collaborative process encourages self-reflection and dialogue on these themes through the creation of portrait-style mixed-media artworks, being displayed on vinyl banners at Coffey Park in Red Hook. The project aims to bridge generational and cultural divides by bringing together youth and community to share their stories and challenge the stereotypes that contribute to bias and discrimination.
